Radiation Induced Bystander Effects in Three Dimensional Structural Cells by Heavy Ion Microbeam

         

摘要

Radiation induced bystander effects(RIBE)refers to the phenomenon that the unirradiated cells manifests the damage response occurred in the irradiated cells.The unirradiated bystander cells include the neighbor of irradiated cells or cells who receive the culture medium from the irradiated cells.These bystander cells demonstrate the extra generation of DSBs and micronuclear,decrease of cell survival,gene mutation and chromosome aberration[15].The mechanism studies showed that the bystander cells were affected by the signal from the directly irradiated cells either through gap junction intercellular communications(GJIC)or secretion of soluble factors,such as IL-6,IL-8 and ROS/RNS,from the targeted cells into the medium[25].
