3-52 Secondary Cancer Risk Induced by Delayed DNA Repair Defect under Heavy-ion Irradiation

摘要

Alterations in DNA repair, cell cycle, and apoptotic pathways are often associated with cancer risk and radiation sensitivity. Individuals with reduced DNA damage response face a greater sensitivity to mutagen challenge.Interindividual variability in mutagen or radiation sensitivity and in cancer susceptibility may also be traced back to polymorphisms of genes affecting e.g.DNA repair capacity[1].
