Projection Idempotents in Nearrings

摘要

Let R be a nearring and G a faithful R-module. In this paper, we study the existence of idempotents in R mapping G onto a subgroup H of G that acts as the identity on H in two settings. One is when H is an R-ideal of G. The other is when H is a complement to an R-ideal K of G.
