A broadband and high gain 8 element microstrip array antenna working at 16GHz is designed . The H shaped aperture coupled feeding , inserting the air layer technology are adopted to achieve wider bandwidths .By using a software 3D electromagnetic field analysis (Ansoft HFSS ) ,the microstrip antenna was simulated and optimized .The simulated results show that the relative impedance bandwidth of the antenna element is 10 .9% ,and the gain is 8 .6dB .The relative impedance bandwidth of 8 elements array antenna is 11 .3% ,and the gain is 16dB .So the performance of the antenna is very well and the method of design has good expansibility .%设计了一个中心频率为16G Hz具有宽频带高增益特性的8单元微带天线阵。综合运用H 型缝隙耦合馈电技术、插入空气层技术方法展宽天线的带宽。使用三维电磁场仿真软件(Ansoft HFSS)对微带天线进行仿真优化,仿真结果表明,天线单元性能良好,相对阻抗带宽(S11≤-10dB)为10.9%,增益为8.6dB。八单元天线阵列相对阻抗带宽达到11.3%,增益为16dB。天线阵列性能良好,设计方法具有很好的可扩展性。
