机译:@@ This is a special issue for the series of Joint Workshops between the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the National Institute of Meteorological Research (NIMR) of the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). The purpose of IAP-NIMR Joint Workshops is to promote scientific and technical cooperation between the two institutes in the field of meteorological research. The first joint workshop was held in 1999 under the great efforts of Dr. Ronghui Huang in IAP and Dr. Sung-Euii Moon, the late former administrator of KMA. In 2001, the two institutes, represented by Dr. Huijun Wang (director-general of IAP) and Dr. Hyo-Sang Chung (director-general of NIMR), reached an agreement of bilateral cooperation, regularized the IAP-NIMR Joint Workshops. Since then, a regular joint workshop is held between the two sides at each year alternatively hosted by each side.
