Inthispaper,themonthlyaveragesanddeviationsoftemperature,pressure,zonalwind,specifichumidity,cloudcoverandthecomponentsofheatbudgethavebeenmputedontheequatorial(5.S-3.N)Pacificsurface(EPS)basedonthe2.x2.griddataofCOADSfrom1950to1987andtheevolutionsoftheseelementshatebeenprovided.TwofeedbackmechanismsofElNino-LaNinacyclewhichincludethedynamic,therttalandhydrologictlprocessesintheooupledairtseasystemareverified.DuringE1Nino.thepressuregradientandtradewinddecreasedontheEPS,thesensibleandlatentheatexchangesenl?
