基于 Argo浮标数据的星载微波辐射计 Aquarius数据产品质量评估

     

摘要

Aquarius is a spaceborne L‐band radiometer w hose mission focuses on the measurement of sea surface sa‐linity from space .Aquarius was successfully launched on June 2011 and has been working operationally for more than two years .This research shows the preliminary results of quality assessment of Aquarius salinity data product based on the Argo buoy data for 2012 .The results reveal that the standard deviation of the error of the Aquarius L2 data is about 0.7 ,with a negative mean bias of -0.1 .There is little difference between ascending and descend‐ing orbits data .The data quality degrades in coastal region because of the impact of land contamination and RFI . Because that the brightness temperature sensitivity is affected by the sea surface temperature ,larger errors are ob‐served in the region of low SST and higher latitude .The performance of sea surface emissivity model with wind‐in‐duced roughness in current salinity retrieval algorithm degrades under high wind speed ,so large discrepancies are observed with the standard deviation of more than 1 .%Aquarius是专门用于海洋盐度监测的L波段辐射计,于2011年6月发射入轨,目前已进入业务化运行阶段。本文以太平洋为研究区域,利用Argo盐度现场数据对星载微波辐射计Aquarius的2012年2级数据产品质量进行了分析与讨论,结果表明:与Argo数据比较,Aquarius数据盐度存在0.1的负偏差,标准差约为0.7,升轨和降轨数据差异不明显;受亮温陆地污染和无线电射频干扰的影响,近岸海域反演误差较大;海面温度较高的低纬海域反演结果优于中纬度海域;受亮温敏感性及粗糙海面发射率模型的影响,Aquarius在低温水域以及高风速条件下盐度反演误差较大,标准差可达1以上。
