摘要

The assumption of instantaneous phase equilibrium is normally made in simulation of gas injection into undersaturated reservoirs. This assumption makes the calculated performance highly sensitive to the size of the grid blocks used in the simulation model to discretize the reservoir.;A pratical reservoir simulator has been developed that includes a heuristic mass transfer model.;In addition, a high resolution model, including both convection and diffusion phenomena, is developed for verification of the practical simulator.;This work shows that the heuristic model, relating the interphase mass transfer to the composition of the phases, is capable of efficiently simulating the cases studied.;This work treats the transient dissolutioning of gas in oil, thereby more realistically modeling the physical situation.
