An investigation into the effects of moderately high temperatures upon the microstructural stability, microhardness, and grain growth of Ti-48Al and Ti-48Al with additions of 1.5Cr, 2.2V, 0.2W, and 1.4Mn (at. %) has been conducted. The as-received microstructures indicated that the microstructures were either duplex or fully transformed. No new phases could be visibly detected in any alloy after annealing for 240 hours.;Annealing these alloys at temperatures of 700 and 815;Grain coarsening was found to be described by an empirical grain-growth expression of the form D = Kt
