Jellyfish: An interactive composition for mobile devices.

摘要

Jellyfish is an interactive musical instrument for mobile devices. Any number of participants can play by visiting the Jellyfish website with a mobile web browser. Participants use touchscreen controls to trigger and alter sounds which play through their mobile device's built-in speakers. Optionally, a master "conductor" can orchestrate global changes, changing parameters on every device connected to Jellyfish..;This thesis focuses on my performance of Jellyfish at the 2016 Mills College Signal Flow Festival, reviewing the piece's artistic and technical considerations.
