Lunar dust management is one of the important projects in order to build a human habitat on the moon. Many researchers have tried to remove the lunar dust from an exposed surface and from a controlled environment. This research analyzes the migration process of lunar dust inside the capsule of a lunar settlement while considering the effect of irregular shape, particle size, gravity of 1.6 m/s2, and flow turbulence.;There must be some provision to prevent the moon dust particles from entering the enclosed capsule. Different numerical models of dust remover are created using CFD code Fluent to analyze the flow of spherical dust particle. Rectangular, cylindrical, dome and pear shaped dust remover models are introduced in this work. All models are studied with two types of flow, simple flow and swirl flow. A comparative study is done which shows that the pear shaped model with swirl flow give best results.;Lunar dust particle is irregular, so the laws of drag and lift are different from the spherical particle. In addition the irregular particle experiences torque which causes rotation of particle. An elliptical shape is considered to study the motion of a non spherical particle in a flow field. The translational and rotational motion of elliptical particle is studied in a two-dimensional model. The elliptical particle is tracked by assigning the laws of lift, drag and torque to the particle using a C++ program.
