Living our giftedness: The unfolding of vocation and contribution within organizations.

The following paper examines our gifts and callings in life, and how this can be extended into our organizations bringing greater meaning to our work. The "spirit" of our workplaces is explored as is creating organizational cultures that inspire the corporate soul. The author explores the topics in the context of her workplace, a mid-sized not-for-profit agency that provides services to children, youth, and families. Dialogue Circles and individual interviews are the methods used to examine vocation, gifts, contribution, and work that has meaning. The question addressed through this action research is: What is the impact and influence of engaging people to "live their giftedness" in the workplace?
