商务英语专业学生跨文化交际能力调查研究

摘要

在当前经济全球化的趋势影响下，中国与世界各国的经贸往来日益密不可分。“一带一路”政策的提出，充分彰显了中国积极参与世界经济合作与交流的信心。在此背景下，为应对广泛的跨国商贸来往与文化交流，商务英语专业的大学生必须具备一定的跨文化交际能力。教育部于2014年发布的《商务英语本科教学质量国家标准》中也明确提出了要重点培养商务英语专业大学生跨文化交际能力这一硬性目标。然而，有关商务英语专业大学生跨文化交际能力方面的研究却相对较少。　　本研究希望通过176位某校来自从大一到大四这四个年级的商务英语专业学生，以了解当下商务英语专业大学生的跨文化交际能力现状，并分析影响他们跨文化交际能力的因素，同时提出一些提升他们跨文化交际能力的建议。本研究以问卷法和访谈法为主要研究方法，采用的问卷是Arasaratnam(2009)的跨文化交际能力量表，结合与5名被试学生的访谈，再将所获得数据用SPSS16.0软件进行分析处理。　　研究表明，商务英语专业大学生的跨文化交际能力总体处于中等水平。其次，在跨文化交际能力的三个维度上，情感层面最好，行为层面其次，认知层面最差。就跨文化交际能力影响因素来说，男女性别之间以及有无参加跨文化活动经历在跨文化能力水平上存在差异，同时男女在情感维度上存在差异。女性比男性相对来说拥有更高的跨文化水平；同时，拥有跨文化活动经历的学生具备着更好的跨文化能力水平。　　因此，基于上述研究结果，本研究对提升商务英语专业大学生跨文化交际能力的建议如下：首先，高校在有关商务英语专业的教学课程设置、教学大纲需要改革与推陈出新，同时提供给学生更多的跨文化交际的机会；其次，教师需要提升自己的专业能力，同时进行跨文化外语教学；最后，商务英语专业学生自己应当提升对跨文化交际的兴趣与动机，主动增加对跨文化相关知识的获取与理解。与此同时，最后本研究也指出了此次调查的不足之处并对之后的相关研究提出了些许建议。
