字与word形态结构对比研究

摘要

字和word分别是汉英两种语言中的自然单位。本文探讨字和word在形态结构方面的对应性。汉语中构字的部件和英语中构词的语素在表意功能和结构位置方面存在对应性。在结构形态上，汉字和英语中的词大都可以分析为更小的语义单位。部件是汉字的组成单位，语素是词的组成单位。在数据统计方面，相对于汉语中字的数量和英语中词的数量而言，构字部件和语素的数量很少，但是他们的衍生力极强。因此，汉语中的构成字的部件和英语中构成词的语素在衍生力方面存在对应性。
　　无可置疑，word是英语中的基本单位;但是关于汉语中的基本单位却充满争议。通过比较得出汉语中的字和英语中word的形态结构对应性，为汉语基本单位的判定提供另外一个思路，同时也为汉英语言的对比分析提供另外一个视角。
