RUGGED RECEIVER FOR AIRBORNE APPLICATION

摘要

This paper reports on the design of a receiver at x-band which is configured using double superheterodyne scheme with linear FM pulse compression and offers high performance features of wide front end bandwidth with low overall noise figure, large spurious free dynamic range, high order of image rejection and accurate post-IF I & Q processor with built-in RF test capability. The packaging is such that the receiver meets the severe environmental requirements of airborne applications. Thought industrial components are used the design construction with the use of super component technology such that the overall unit meets the applicable military specifications
