摘要

1 IntruductionQilian-Longshou Mountain lies at the northeastern edge of Tibet plateau. Being the component of Universal-Cathaysian Landmass Group, it has been in a tectonic transition zone between two gigantic mainlands, Gondwana and Laurasia, during a long period of geological history. In view of the cushioning effect performed by those scattered and active land masses, it is understood that early Paleozoic Orogeny wasn't the two mainlands' hard collision after transfixion ocean disappeared but characterized as a soft collision among land masses, weak orogeny and irregularities.So it could be possibly combined dynamically only by suture effect multicyclely.
