摘要

This research is based on analysing the most significant business environment changes in the global car industry to ascertain industrial trends, threats and opportunities for international producers. It systematically describes carmakers' strategies to respond to these external changes. In addition, this study focuses on Volkswagen as representative of the industry to research its competitive advantages depending on strategies application analysis. Strategic recommendations and conclusions for this industry are presented.
