An Improved Inventory Management Policy for Effective Echelon-Inventory Management in Supply Chains

Multi-echelon inventory problem is one of the most widely investigated fields in mathematical inventory theory because it becomes more and more important to have efficient tool to deal with the flows of goods through the various location of system for the today's complex logistics system. This paper considers a multi-echelon inventory system. A multi-objective control model is proposed, considering the inventory cost, user satisfaction and salvage time. The optimization is implemented in two stages.
