Ethic and Morality in Project Tendering and Bidding

摘要

Ethics are a series of moral rules among people. Ethics exist in project tendering and bidding. Because Chinese market economy is not perfect yet, it does not have a unified trade marketplace of construction products. Sometimes competition is built on the asymmetric information among employers and bidders. Therefore, immoral actions of violating ethic inevitably exist in project tendering and bidding. This paper analyzes the reasons of causing immoral actions with game theory, and it presents that tenderer and bidder will execute malpractice under asymmetric information in tendering and bidding. Finally, this paper also gives many effective measures, which will be used in setting up ethical constraint.
