TZSB, THE FIRST GERMAN TESTING-LABORATORY FOR THERMALSOLAR-SYSTEMS AND ITS COMPONENTS ACCORDING TO DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000

The 'Testzentrum Saarbruecken' (TZSB) within the 'Institut für ZukunftsEnergieSysteme' (IZES) isnow accredited as the first test institute in Europe for all European test standards in the field of solarthermal systems and its components in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000 [1]. Therefore, theTZSB holds the official confirmation of his high-quality management system that meets also the highstandards of the DIN EN ISO 9002:1994.Since 1996 the TZSB is a testing laboratory for thermal solar collectors that was qualified to carry outtests in accordance to the certification procedures of DIN CERTCO. The range of acceptation were theGerman Standards DIN 4757-1,2 and DIN V 4757-3,4 [2]. Now, with the accreditation through theGerman accreditation body DAP (Deutsches Akkreditierungssystem Prüfwesen), the testing range isextended to the European Standards DIN EN 12975-1,2, DIN EN 12976-1,2, and DIN EN V 12977-1,2,3[3].
