THERMAL MODEL OF PARABOLIC TROUGH SOLAR COLLECTOR SYSTEM

摘要

This paper presents a thermal model for the performance evaluation of parabolic trough solar collectorsystem. The model is by far the most rigorous. Illustrative numerical computations for geometricalparameters corresponding to LS3 (LUZ solar concentrator) are carried out to investigate the efficiency ofenergy yield and the exergy, which in turn may be used for designing the parabolic trough solar collectorfields for different applications and operational options.
