摘要

The diffusion bonding joints between Ti-45Al-8.5Nb-(W, B, Y) casting rods and Ti-6Al-4V pre-alloyed spherical powders were prepared by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) under 920 °C/3h/120MPa. Therefore, tensile properties were test and microstructures of joints were observed and analyzed by means of optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, electron probe and XRD. The result of tensile test reveals that a sound joint of Ti-45Al-8.5Nb-(W, B, Y)/Ti-6Al-4V has been gained and it performs an average tensile strength of 662 MPa. In the further experiment, it can be drawn that Ti3Al based alloy has been prepared in diffusion areas by atomic migration of titanium, aluminum and niobium during HIP, which result in improvement of the joint's plastic properties and avoidance of micro-void in the joint.
