AUTHORING MOVIE VIDEO TO HYPERMEDIA BASED ON VSDL-TV

摘要

With the rapid development of the Internet and digital broadcasting, there is a dramatic increase in the amounts of multimedia data, such as video, sound or text documents, etc. In order to further use these kinds of multimedia resources in a flexible way, it is thought that the descriptions of the resources should be provided. Thus, in our previous work, we have proposed a framework, which known as Video Stream Description Language for TV Movie Show (VSDL-TV). The framework is to integrate and manage all kinds of descriptions obtained in both ways - automatic and manual, each has its own various levels of reliabilities. In this paper, a Movie Video Hypermedia Authoring system, which has built based on the VSDL-TV, will be presented.
