An Evaluation of New Technologies applied to Hospitals: a practical use

Curiously, hospitals are one of the most commented on and well-known problems in computer environments owing to the fact that at some point during their training, computer engineers have had to solve some problem related to this environment. Besides, it is always a place we have visited at least once. Without a doubt it has different problems, which can be dealt with from the research point of view and can benefit the hospital environment as well as the research group. This paper is about research within the development field on hospital environments. In contrast to many projects which specialise on a specific environment and field, the subject-matter in question encompasses the whole hospital environment i.e. it takes into account the whole organisation and how it works to achieve maximum quality in producing such a specifiic element as appointment giving. The process has the colateral effect of producing reduced costs and increased quality in software production on those elements or work frames which arise in the process itself of giving appointments and can be applied to the context of other projects.
