Development Trends for Surface Mining in Yugoslavia

摘要

In Yugoslav mining production, surface mining has a dominant place. That field of mining, in each stage of its development, follows the global technology development and today achieves high production results. The paper shows specific research in surface mining in Yugoslavia with original informatics' approach that enables usage of the most contemporary theoretical solutions and provides high surface mining production in 21st century. The paper considers research in applications of the theory of reliability, simulation models, cybernetics, thus enabling development of new strategies in control of production process in surface mining.
