The Study of Urban Road Traffic Safety System Sustained Development Evaluation Method

Basing on synthesizing and analyzing the domestic and overseas research on the traffic safety evaluation, Aiming at the status and existent problems of the city traffic safety management of our country, an evaluation indexes system is advanced, which assures the city traffic safety sustained developing, it is divided into three parts, consists of 14 values, e. g. value of basic data, traffic safety management value and value of public safety assessment. In addition an evaluation model basing on the BP artificial network is designed. Combining with evaluation example, it detailedly analyzes the method of calculation realized by software eventually. It shows that evaluation method is useful and significant to improve the management and decision levels of the traffic management department, to decrease traffic accidents, and to accelerate the sustained development of city traffic.
