This paper presents the construction mode, the main station scheme of rural Distribution Automation System (DAS), and focus on the applications of rural DAS in increasing the power supply reliability, improving power quality, reducing power loss, and provides new ideas of preventing power stolen, enhancing the sustainable development of power market.
