摘要

This paper presents a MAC protocol called CDMA-based Dynamic Code Assignment (CD-CA), which integrates code assignment scheme and media access control method. By using public code and two independent transceivers, this protocol assures the success of the RTS-CTS-REO dialogue, therefore solving the problems of missing RTS, missing CTS and deadlock which current multi-channel MAC protocols are faced with. Moreover, it doesn't require any form of clock synchronization among mobile hosts and the number of the needed codes is independent of network topology. Because the codes are assigned dynamically, CDCA protocol also improves the efficiency of codes. From the simulation results, it can be seen that the performance of CDCA protocol is superior to that of MACA/R-T protocol.
