Development of Wearable Heart Rate Counter

摘要

This paper describes the development and experimental results of the prototype of the wearable heart rate counter using strain gages. The portable and wearable heart rate counter was developed for the purpose of measuring the heart rate that is one of the vital sign and the fundamental living body information. The authors have developed double layered wrist band to measure the heart rate during walking, and succeeded to measure the heart rate during 1.0-2.0 [m/s] walking speed.
