摘要

To remove surface defects the technology of electron-beam surface glazing of ingots from titanium and its alloys was developed. The thermal-physical peculiarities of EB glazing process were studied. The influence of technological parameters on depth of remelted surface layer was determined. The chemical composition and structure of remelted surface layer was investigated. The electron-beam furnace for glazing of round and rectangular ingots was presented.
