Project Management for High-Speed Railway Construction in China

摘要

Since 2003, China's high-speed railway (HSR) construction has made brilliant achievements, featuring large construction scale, high technological standards and strict management requirements. This paper focuses on the concrete characteristics of China's HSR project management. It systematically introduces the detailed content of HSR construction organization and management in terms of innovative management concept, scheme and measures, as well as orderly progress of project construction and intensification of project supervision, concentrating on major experiences in the aspects of rules & regulations, technological standard, organization of construction work, etc. The status of China's HSR construction is also compared with global background.
