摘要

In the year 2010 the City of Stockholm is to become the most accessible capital city in the world. So far mostly physical adaptions of pedestrian crossings, bus stops, playgrounds and public lavatories as well as installing ramps or hearing devices in Stockholm City properties has been made. In the year 2005 the project Digital pedestrian network started. By creating a digital pedestrian network and connect all kinds of municipal data to this network persons with for example visual impairments with the help of a mobile phone are able to move independently from i e their home to their working place. By combining municipal information with the pedestrian digital network, and by using GPS and inertia navigation equipment a more or less unique navigation tool is created.
