摘要

Seismic risk mitigation programs for operational and functional components (OFCs) of buildingsgenerally consist of such key elements as a seismic risk assessment, mitigation cost estimating,component selection, seismic engineering, seismic installation of restraint systems, quality assurance, andmitigation tracking and documentation.In order to reduce the amount of required calculations for design and analysis for generic situations, andto define a system that works for unique situations, an innovative analytical and design methodology hasbeen developed. The proposed methodology is discussed in this paper and illustrative examples todemonstrate its advantages are presented.
