The concentrations of 22 elements were measured in the hair of Chukcha and Yakut people by the SRXRF method. This method allowed us to reveal the individual, sex, and regional distinctions in the content of elements in the Hair of the inhabitants of these regions. It is shown that the concentrations of most of the elements are higher in the Hair of Chukcha people. A comparison of the multielement Hair composition of the populations under study indicates that a set of elements is different for Chukcha and Yakut men and women, probably, due to national (genetic) and geochemical factors. The element composition of Hair can explain the degree of the influence of geochemical factors on human population and can be used for medico-geographical mapping of territories.
