The content of total lead in soil profiles in some agricultural soils of northern Poland

Nine soil profiles from northern Poland were investigated. The aim of this investigation was to determine the content and distribution of Pb in genetic horizons. Total lead content in the soils was assayed after mineralization with HF and HCIO_4. Total lead content in the investigated soils ranged 12.44mg·kg~(-1) - 32.61mg·kg~(-1), therefore these soils should be considered as non-Pb-contaminated ones.
