In Cyberspace The Map is Definitely the Territory

I adopted the manner of speech called E-Prime, shortly after I encountered the concept in writings of Robert Anton Wilson. E-Prime seemed to present a remedy for the uneasiness I feel when hearing or making statements that carry any degree of absolute certainty regarding complex issues. I had often felt a palpable anguish regarding the simple fact that I just didn't feel capable of absolute certainty about those things that arose singly within my own mind and dealt only with my own self - how could I possibly lend any degree of certainty to those things that arose from without? In the era of my childhood my Dyslexia was recognized as stupidity or stubborn laziness. I left behind a long line of perplexed Guidance Counselors who could not explain the gap between my grades and my aptitude test scores except as willful disdain for the standard educational process. Words would literally shift and morph as I watched the ink flow from one pattern to another making textual data inherently uncertain, no matter what authority lay behind them. Spatial reasoning was another matter entirely.
