摘要

With the increasing demands for healthier and safer coatings products having low odor and fast cure properties, three new hydrophilic polyisocyanates have been developed and used in the formulation of low VOC 2K waterborne polyurethane coatings. The resulting coatings demonstrate excellent properties, including gloss, hardness, pot life, chemical resistance and durability. The comparative performance of these hydrophilic polyisocyanates allows us to correlate the film properties and morphology. The structure-property relationships as well as the effect of NCO/OH ratio will be described.
