摘要

The Town of Cary uses dynamic sewer modeling to help plan infrastructure in its utility service area. The Town completed a project to update its wastewater collection system master plan in 2003. This project included development of a computerized dynamic sewer model. This model provides the Town with a powerful tool to plan long-term infrastructure capital improvements and to quickly compare alternate growth and infrastructure scenarios to help it meet rapidly changing service area needs, as well as regulatory and financial requirements.
