In conclusion, we have observed a reverse bifurcation from chaoticnto periodic dynamics in a semiconductor laser subject to strong opticalninjection at its free-running frequency. Spontaneous emission noiseneffects obscure specific spectral features in the reversenperiod-doubling region, but by measuring the dynamic parameters of thenlaser we have shown that the coupled complex-field and carrier densitynmodel accounts for the observed spectra
