Continual monitoring the natural ventilating pressure in a deep coal mine

From November 2002, the continual monitoring of natural ventilating pressure has been performed in the 900m deep of Darkov Mine, Ostrava-Karvina Coalfield, Czech Republic. The natural ventilating pressure is measured on the basis of temperatures measuring. The mine air thermometers are placed in downcast and upcast shafts while their measured levels are transmitted to the control computer. Also, the values of barometric and fan static pressures are simultaneously transmitted to the same computer algorithm. Time behaviors of temperatures, barometric and natural ventilating pressure are determined continually every lime.
