Abstract: Coded aperture ECT is a non-contact non-destructive imaging which gives three dimensional emitter distribution. We have developed a new inversion algorithm for coded aperture ECT using multiple projections. To improve depth resolution of the three dimensional reconstruction, we use multiple projections obtained while varying the position of an area sensor along the depth direction. An optimum filter based on the three dimensional model is derived. It is shown that the depth resolution when five projections are used is twice as high as that when single projection is used.!5
