High Resolution ISAR Imaging of Targets with Complex Motions in the terahertz region

High-resolution imaging has always been one of the hotspots in the field of radar research. It has a wide range of military and civilian applications, such as battlefield reconnaissance, non-destructive testing and security inspection. With the rapid development of millimeter wave and terahertz in recent years, the research progress of high resolution imaging based on millimeter wave and terahertz radar is remarkable, which provides a new possibility for fine target recognition. Based on terahertz radar, high resolution imaging experiments of complex moving targets are carried out in this paper. The special requirement of high resolution in terahertz band is pointed out through experimental data processing. The great potential of terahertz radar in high resolution application scenarios in the future is also described.
