The need for ultra-wideband(UWB) wide-angle scan array antenna is increasing by wideband radar and electronic warfare domain. An dual-polarization 3:1 bandwidth ±45deg scan array antenna is designed and manufactured. The antenna is an new vivaldi antenna which is made by pure metal and feed by the internal conductor directly. The element spacing is bigger than half of the high frequency wave length, which is the limit spacing of the tightly coupled array, by thicken the vivaldi antenna and optimization. The simulated and measured results shown the active-VSWRs of the antenna at 3:1 bandwidth with all scan angle are blew 3, and the lobe pattern could achieve ±45deg scan.
