Rapid retrieval of ultrashort pulse amplitude and phase from a sonogram trace

By measuring the sonogram of an ultrashort pulse we have demonstrated a robust and sensitive characterization method with acquisition rates as high as 0.5 Hz. Retrieved data are compared to independent experimental measurements
