In this paper, a new family of p-ary sequences is constructed, which has the period of pn − 1 over 2 when p is an odd prime and n is an odd integer. The family has the size of 2(pn − 1) and the maximum correlation magnitude of the family is 1 over 2 (p√pn +1). The nontrivial cross correlations of the family are also given.
