摘要

Well testing (pressure measurement under various form and flow gauging at wellheads) and production logging are the basic sources of the data on the processes occurring in the reservoir and the well under development of oil fields. The situation exists for many years in the Russian (previously-Soviet) field practice at which well survcys are divided into hydrodynamic (well testing) and geophysical (production logging) surveys. Under hydrodynamic survey the parameters to be measured are considered as a functions of time, whereas under geophysical one they are considered as a function of depth. Well testing is conducted by field operators, whereas production logging are carried out by specialized geophysical companies. Moreover there is no necessary co-ordinanion between survey programs as well as combined data analysis. Such separation existing in the Russian field practice decreases potential informativity of the well behavior control. Combined conduction and interpretation of well testing and production logging leads not to simple addition of the obtained results but to essential increase in the level of information on the process of oil field development.
