摘要

Plastic deformation of wheel and rail was analyzed in this paper in accordance with the elastic-plastic theory.The concept of shakedown limit for wheel/rail material under elastic-plastic condition is propouded.Because o hte work hardening of contact surface o frail /wheel and the increasse of contact radius,the plastic deformation of the rail/wheel decreased gradually,On the basis of this concept,the calculation for wheel/rail contact was made and the plastic dformation fo wheel/rail profile was predicted.
