Tilt anisoplanatism and PSF retrieval in LGS MCAO using a predictive controller

It is shown how Strehl ratio degradation due to tilt anisoplanatism in laser guide star supported multi-conjugated adaptive optics systems can be predicted by analytical models. Long exposure PSFs are retrieved, and the advantage of implementing a predictive temporal controller to compensate for loop delay is demonstrated.
