This paper investigated the structure evolution and phase formation of Fe-(11,13,15wt.%)Mn alloy under near-rapid solidification conditions. It is found that the area ratio of equiaxed zone in the Fe-13Mn alloy is the largest. And the primary dendrite arm spacing of Fe-(11,13,15wt.%)Mn alloy increased clearly with increasing distance from the surface. The volume percentage of HCP phase increased with increasing manganese content in the range from 11 pet to 15pct.
