Simulation of coal gasification in fluidized bed coal gasifier

In the work, we develop the model of a fluidized bed coal gasifier by using CHEMKIN 4.1 software. Inrnthe simulation, which considers mass/energy balance, hydrodynamic and reation kinetc, the fluidizedrnbed wasdivided into distinct sections : a dense region at the bottom of the bed which is replaced by arnPSR in the simulation, and a dilute region at the top replaced by a PFR where most homogeneousrnreactions occur in gas phase.The results of the simulation have been found to be in good agreementrnwith the experimental data in the literature, which verified the validity of the model.
